About this shoot: Both Christy and I wanted a different shoot than what we usually do, so we tried to stay away from being too girly and started looking at fashion magazines. We found many inspirations from the Vogue magazine and Christy got this idea of setting up a flower setting at my studio; and here's the result you see before you.
I came up with the title ROUGE; a french word for red, and it also refers to the cosmetic powder used for cheeks and lips. We thought it's very appropriate since it symbolizes the innocence hinted from her blush and youthful expression.
Behold the power of makeup , nah j/k, it could be because we wanted to do different shoot than usual so she wanted to go for a different look and expression
I like it, but the flowers look a bit clunky. I like the concept, but I think it would have worked better with a more delicate selection of flowers. Such as carnations, some babies breath, or even nadeshiko. I still really like though.
Totally agree with you Guess it could've been better if had spent more time preparing lol, this was actually pulled together within 2 days and we bought all the props hrs before the shoot so it was a bit rushed, thanks for the support!
